A Review of the National Partnership Agreement on the National Quality Agenda for Early Childhood Education and Care is currently being undertaken (2014 Review).
The 2014 Review included a public consultation process to seek input from the early childhood education and care sector, families and other interested stakeholders about the implementation of the National Quality Framework. This consultation sought feedback on individual components of the National Quality Framework and its implementation as well as the early childhood quality agenda in general.
The feedback period has now closed, and we would like to thank everyone who participated in the process. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
A summary of findings from the 2014 National Quality Framework Review consultation process is now available. All proposed options for change to the National Quality Framework as a result of the 2014 Review will be outlined in a Consultation Regulation Impact Statement (RIS) to be released towards the end of 2014. The sector, families and the broader community will be invited to provide feedback on the Consultation RIS. Face to face consultation sessions for the RIS are expected to occur for four to five weeks from mid-November. Further information on the public consultation including dates, locations and registration details will be posted on the Australian Government Department of Education’s website and relevant websites in each state and territory shortly.
