Our OmniAccess™ Products

You know the situation. There's information you'd dearly like to know about your market, but you simply can't justify the expense of an ad hoc survey.

Our full-service omnibus could well be what you need. Because you share overhead costs with a number of other clients, it ends up being eminently affordable.

Why us
Since Woolcott isn't the only research company offering an omnibus facility, it might be appropriate here to give you a few reasons to consider us.

Our expertise - We've been doing this sort of thing for more than 20 years. Our people not only have extensive experience in assessing research needs and conducting surveys, but, even more important, they provide you with high-quality results you can use with confidence.

Value for money - We offer more than just a bunch of numbers. Along with computer-generated tables, you'll receive findings in chart format plus a brief written summary. And, if you'd like, we can also provide you with more detailed written reports and/or a presentation.

Fast turnaround - Because we use Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) exclusively to conduct our OmniAccess surveys, you're able to receive results the day after we finish interviewing.

Other - We personally train and brief all interviewers in house.

The questionnaire includes a series of standard demographic questions including
age, gender, work status, occupation of main income earner and whether there
are children under 18 living at home.

Data is post-weighted to reflect the latest ABS population estimated.

Whether you're buying one question or a few dozen, the cost includes
questionnaire design, interviewing, analysis and results in both tabular and
chart formats. Prices can vary a fair bit depending on several different factors
such as the number of questions, whether they're closed- or open-ended the
difficulty of finding specific targets and the complexity of techniques required.
But it's not all extra expense; we also offer discounts on multiple rounds or
    for five questions or more.

Two separate and distinct products
The basic Woolcott Omnibus is a wide-ranging research product which can cover everything from discovering how many people watched the Melbourne Cup telecast at work to how many people take their annual leave each year. Or measuring to what extent people associate coffee with Brazil to checking what proportion of people suffer from wind pain.

Our Basic Omnibus
Every other weekend we carry out in-house CATI surveys with 1,000 adults 16+ throughout Australia. The respondents are split evenly between males and females and they break down geographically like this:

Small Business Omnibus
Each month we conduct a national CATI survey of 1,000 Australian businesses with less than 20 full-time (or equivalent) staff. As you'd expect, we make all calls during business hours.

The geographic coverage of the 1,000 small businesses breaks down thusly:

We quota samples by location and type of industry (defined by ASIC codes) to be representative of all Australian small business. (The one exception is the Agricultural sector, which we handle separately. See just below.)

The questionnaire includes a series of standard classification questions including industry type and employee size.
