Have your say
about planning our
water for the future

Thank you for your interest in this important research project.

Woolcott Research & Engagement is an independent market research company. We have been engaged by Central Coast Council to speak with local residents and businesses to gain a better understanding of their preferences for the future of water in the local area, which will input the development of Council’s Integrated Water Resources Plan.

Participation in this project will involve the following steps:

Attending an online forum discussion from 6.00 – 7:40pm in early December

(Dates as shown below)
This will be conducted over Zoom and will require you to download the Zoom app on your phone, tablet or computer. You will also need a microphone and preferably a camera activated on your chosen device. Instructions will be provided.

Receiving an email, watching a video and providing feedback

This will take approximately 15 minutes and must be completed before the second forum (see next).

Attending a second online forum discussion from 6.00 – 7:40pm in February 2021

(Date TBA)

Note that a third forum will occur in April 2021 that you will be invited to participate in upon the completion of this project.

In line with the research industry’s common practice, participants will be paid as a token of appreciation for their time. They will receive a total of $100 ($50 after each forum. (Small businesses will receive $200 – $100 after each forum).  This incentive ensures we attract a diverse range of people representing the cross section of our community.

Participation requirements:
  • You must reside in the Central Coast Council area
  • You must be 18 years or over
  • You must participate in all three steps of the engagement process
  • You must be available to participate on the allocated dates (see above)

If you are interested in taking part in the engagement project please register your information by clicking on the button below.

After registering we will be in contact with you to let you know if you are successful. We are seeking a broad and representative group of residents and therefore cannot guarantee participation.

The Forum Experience

Our engagement forums are the perfect setting for you to learn about and consider issues regarding water in your area.

They are informative, interactive and fun experiences that enable you to have your say.

You will collaborate with other participants to help come up with a solution that will help shape Council’s Integrated Water Resources Plan.
